We always make an effort to find a balanced and reasonable solution between the conflicting interests of the parties, in order to save time and the problems and costs involved in legal proceedings. In recent years, many of the most important professional acts we have carried out have resulted in transactional solutions between the parties. Therefore, we are very determined in the area of negotiation, always looking after the interests of the client.

However, if a reasonable period for negotiation has passed and no settlement has been reached, the firm recommends initiating legal action without further delay, as the old saying that “a bad agreement is better than a good lawsuit” is not always true; today it can also be said that sometimes “a good trial is worth more than a bad agreement.”

In this context, we make every effort to find agreements that avoid legal proceedings, but we also fight with dedication and determination in the courts when necessary.

Should we have to go to court, we offer technical assistance and legal advice before the various judicial bodies in Andorra, including the Constitutional Court, as well as before other European bodies, such as the European Court of Human Rights.
